About Vine Katz

Vine Katz, led by singer-guitarist Liz Jones, performs iconic songs from the Great American Songbook as well contemporary Latin, pop and original songs.

“Our songs are the perfect combination of melody, rhythm and lyrical style that suit our talents best” says Jones.

Jones's band includes multi-talented Jason Heald on lead and rhythm guitar. Heald is an accomplished performer, singer, composer, arranger and choir director. Trumpeter, Don Fischer's intuitive sensibilities add flare and swank to the music while Dave Wilson's bass playing provides rhythmic foundation that adds groove and texture. Vine Katz has one of two skilled drummers on hand who set the tempo, time and feel. Depending on availability you may see Kaitlyn Barrett or Mark Schluter in the mix.

I enjoy this group so much. Every member of this band is so talented and together they are such a wonderful blend. They play music in so many genres... Jazz, blues, country, easy listening and on and on. Such a joy to hear them. If you get a chance to see them, don't miss out. Definitely a fan!!
